Commitment to Quality: ISO 9001:2000 Certification
It is an easy thing to say that providing quality service to our customers is important to us. It is quite another thing to attain an internationally recognized certification that supports our claim. We made a commitment to achieve and maintain an ISO 9001:2009 certification. In the fall of 2006, we became one of the few pest and termite control companies to achieve certification in southeast Louisiana. But what does it mean in layman’s terms?
First, ISO 9001:2000 is a Quality Management System Requirements Standard created by the International Organization for Standardization, a federation of national standards groups from around the world. It is a worldwide standard that is helping us be an even better company.
We created a Quality Management System (QMS) that was documented and implemented and has been continually improved upon since its implementation. Our QMS was scrutinized by an outside auditing firm (an independent registrar) and was deemed worthy of being recommended for an ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Our company is audited on a regular basis to help make certain our documented QMS is being followed. Customers in turn know that we hold ourselves to very high standards of providing service.
In summary, we are quite proud to have achieved our goal of ISO 9001:2000 Certification. It is a very significant way for us to demonstrate to our current and future customers that you come first with DA Exterminating.
